Vicky Taub is a Specialist Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist with over two decades of experience supporting children and young people across mainstream and specialist educational settings.
 

Having worked alongside Amanda (“Mandy”) for more than 20 years throughout Haringey and Barnet, Vicky has been instrumental in developing truly collaborative, multidisciplinary ways of working. Together, they have championed joined-up services that place children, young people and their families at the centre of every decision, ensuring therapy is meaningful, coordinated and embedded within everyday life. Vicky has extensive experience working in both mainstream and special schools, supporting children with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs. She believes that the greatest outcomes are achieved when families, education staff and therapists work together with shared goals and a consistent approach.

Her areas of expertise include:

• Specialist assessment and intervention for speech, language and communication
  needs.

• Collaborative multidisciplinary working alongside Occupational Therapists,
  education professionals and wider health services.

• Developing integrated therapy pathways that support children across education,
  health and social care.

• Designing and delivering practical, evidence-based training for schools and
  education staff.

• Establishing MDT systems and processes that promote effective communication,
  shared clinical reasoning and coordinated support.

• Empowering school staff and families with practical strategies that can be
  embedded into daily routines.

 

Vicky is passionate about building capacity within schools and empowering the adults around each child. Her calm, collaborative approach helps create inclusive environments where communication can flourish, enabling children and young people to participate, learn and achieve with confidence.
